The Pennsylvania Radiological Society began as the Roentgen Ray Society of Central Pa. organized in Altoona, Pa. in May 1916. The Society's founders were Doctors G. D. Bliss, W. A. Reily, and Harry W. Stewart. The purpose of the society was to discuss issues related to X-Ray diagnosis and X-Ray/or radium treatment.
